Review of Santa Anna Town (Coleman County), Texas

It is sunny, hot, and dry..and I love it
Star Rating - 5/30/2013
The weather for the most part is very predictable, sunny, hot, and dry..and I love it. I have lived in the southwest for most of my life, but spent twenty years in Birmingham, Alabama, When I retired, I started looking for a new home, I found it here. The "mountain," actually a mesa that gave the town the name of "Gap" blocks the most of the "blue northers" that plaque the high plains. This, in combination with the winds from the south mean that we seldom get any real winter weather. The average snowfall of two inches quoted in the climate section has to be an anomaly..because it hasn't snowed two inches in four years combined. Sunshine and friendly people make it a good place to call home.
